The Shandon Shocker is published by No. 30 Productions. We collect as little information as possible and do not ask visitors to create an account, join a mailing list or submit personal details through this website.
Information collected by the site
We do not currently use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Our hosting and security providers may process ordinary technical information, such as an IP address, browser information and request logs, to deliver and protect the website.
When you email us
If you choose to get in touch, we receive the email address, name, message, attachments and routine delivery information that you include. Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary.
How correspondence is used
Correspondence is used to reply to you, review tips, consider corrections, investigate complaints or rights concerns, and protect the publication’s legitimate interests. It is not sold or added to a marketing list.
Email delivery
Messages sent to our public address are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to a private Google Gmail inbox. Those providers process the message as needed to route, filter and store it.
Retention
Routine correspondence is kept only while it is reasonably needed and is normally deleted within 12 months after the matter is resolved. Messages involving legal, copyright, safety or ongoing complaint issues may be kept longer where reasonably necessary.
Your choices and rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you or request that it be corrected or deleted, subject to applicable law. You may also raise a concern with Ireland’s Data Protection Commission.
